Hi to all my fellow bloggers! I miss blogging but sad to say my time now is so limited cause my little girl is here with me now. Ok just a brief story about my delivery. Friday 5am i woke up with a bloody discharge(excuse)that freaks me out i got up and soon as i stand up a tiny flow of blood run down my leg so, had to wake up my hubby who almost run to the door on his briefs to take me to the hospital lol..
When we reached the hospital they checked me monitored everything then doctor came and said "OK YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE YOUR BABY TODAY" my hubby and i was happy but im very nervous about the pain im going to experience, I was right! I had a 23hour painful labor trying to have my baby vaginally but i still ended up having c-section after 30mins of pushing with no progress. All in all experience it was not my ideal labor and delivery but when i saw my little angel healthy SHE IS ALL WORTH IT!

Anyway here is one of the pic of the room my husband and i have been working on
Im on my 36th week of my pregnancy the baby is head down and measuring perfectly my OB-GYN said. Lately its been very hard to move and im having pains on my back and my Vjayjay.. my feet and numbness never go away its hard to sleep, I toss and turn all the time, i pee 2-3 times at night, had to shift upright so i can breath real good. It just goes on and on I know i have been complaining but i love being pregnant and taking care of my child inside me.
We just cant wait for her arrival.
Other than that there is nothing much going on cause we are keeping ourselves ready when the time comes that im ready to go the hospital, My poor husband is restrained from his weekend hobbies but he knows and prefer to be here with me all time.

The Dark Knight
I heard a lot of good reviews on this movie and I cant wait to hit the theaters to see this movie myself and have my own review about it. I guess it became more popular because the late Heath Ledger played the Joker and also BATMAN movies has a lot of followers like my husband.
Christian Bale who played BATMAN is freakin HOT! HOT! HOT!

I miss my mom
Lately my mind is always occupied with thoughts about my pregnancy and wanting my parents to be here when i deliver my baby. I hope and pray that they will be granted a tourist visa so they can see their first granddaughter. It just sad to think that its in the immigrations hand if that will ever happen. (Just venting here)

Good Deal
We recently bought this TV for our bedroom got it from best buy cause we have been using the "dinosaur tv" that has broken remote and we only get one channel.
It was a very good deal, Its a 32inch FLATSCREEN PLASMA TV for just $547.00
You cant beat that even the salesman cant believe that they have a deal for a plasma tv for that kind of price.

Our Landscaping
BEFORE
AFTER
So far we are done with the rocks but we are still going to add some plants and flowers. Its a pain in the pocket project but we will take it than those old pine needdles that we used to have they are messy and sometimes snakes lay eggs on them.
Now it looks better and it adds up the value of our house too

Iron supplement
I just got done with my monthly pre-natal check-up today and everything went fine. I gained weight which is normal cause my baby is growing inside, also had the routine urine sample the result was ok too. Nurse pricked my finger to get a blood sample for my iron level and we just found out im a little low on iron or a little anemic, My OB-GYN explained that it happened to a lot of pregnant women cause the baby is getting iron from me so i need to add the iron to my body for both of me and my baby.
Lacking of enough iron for pregnant women can cause fatigue and headache which i experience but not aware of it. OB-GYN also said that my diet will consist of leafy vegetables and meat. Im just hoping that since im approaching on my third trimester that im going to have a smooth sailing pregnancy and not to have this as a start of a difficult last 3 months.

Child Birth Classes
I have reach my 26th week of my pregnancy and its the time also that i have to schedule us for child birth class but until now we are still thinking twice if we are going to do it or not, I heard to some people that its OVER-RATED especially if you are going to have C-SECTION. I remember when i was still in the philippines i dont know anymom who went to those classes and still they had a safe and healthy delivery.
The fee is $60 its a one day 8 hour class.
What do you think mommies? Is it really super important?

NO STARCH DIET
My husband and i was not really on a diet just to loose weight. We are looking for some recipe's that has low-starch or no-starch at all the reason why because my husband has been suffering with ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS its a kind of severe arthritis that started when he got into a car accident in his 20's. His been on and off the diet cause i understand that its really hard to cut almost all food you love to eat. Now, I need to kinda "follow the diet" too in order to help him and not drag him to starchy foods that causes this arthristis to flare up. But when he is not around im eating the foods i need to for my baby as well. I pray that my husband can be disciplined and follow the strict diet.

Good Parents, Bad Result
Science is providing proof of where Mom and Dad go wrong.
1.PARENTS FAIL AT SETTING LIMITS. Childrens who are showered with advantages are more likely to be depressed and anxious and to abuse drugs and alcohol than the norm.
2.THEY'RE OVERPROTECTIVE. Children realize that sometimes they will fail, make mistakes, have setbacks. When parents intercede, it communicates to the kid that " I dont think you're capable of dealing with it.'
3.THEY NAG,LECTURE.REPEAT.THEN YELL. Nagging gives children "negative reinforcement," or an incentive-parental attention to keep misbehaving.
4.THEY PRAISE TOO MUCH-AND BADLY. Children who were praised for being intelligent, rather than making a good effort, actually made less of an effort on tests and had a harder time dealing with failure.
5.THEY PUNISH TOO HARSHLY. "Punishment isnt just ineffective," it leads to avoidance and escape. It puts a little wedge in the relationship between parent and child.
6.THEY TELL THEIR CHILD HOW TO FEEL. Children need to think about how their own feelings will be affected by what they do, as well as the feeling of others.
7.THEY PUT GRADES AND SATS AHEAD OF CREATIVITY. The goal is not to have a child who knows how to answer question but one who will grow up to ask the important questions. Help your children to be open-minded.
8.THEY FORGET TO HAVE FUN. Those little signs of love and connection a laugh, a song shared in the car, are signs of health.

Calling all Husband & Wife..
8 Secrets of Sexy Marriages
In every relationship, levels of sexual desire for both partners fluctuate. Some stages are predictable: when you first marry, after you have a child, when the kids leave home, when job pressures persist. Knowing this, and being confident enough to talk about it, strengthens intimacy. Couples with the sexiest marriages:
1. Remember that sex problems are sometimes red herrings. Understanding that impotence is a common problem at every stage of marriage is the first, and highest, hurdle most couples have to clear.
2. Don't save affection for the bedroom only. Couples whose sex lives bring them the most happiness eroticize their lives -- that is, they give affection physically and verbally through the day in different ways.
3. Make time for love. Sexy wives know that lovemaking is a habit: The more you do it, the more you like it, and the more you like it, the more you do it. They make lovemaking a top priority, and if that means scheduling sex, so be it.
4.Talk every day. Even if it's just 10 minutes in the morning and 10 at night, voice your love. 5. Kiss often. We're not talking a perfunctory peck on the cheek but a deep, sensual, teasing kiss. Many longtime couples rarely kiss at all, going straight to intercourse when they have sex.
6. Have adventures. Instead of sex behind a locked bedroom door, these couples make love at the beach, in the car, in the shower, on the living room floor.
7. Break the rules. Ask yourself: What ruts have we fallen into and how can we get out of them? Explore changes, even small ones, with which you both feel comfortable. Don't nix ideas automatically; instead, be willing to experiment with videos, sex toys, and magazines.
8. Learn what pleases. Know what you like and don't like in bed -- and make sure your partner knows, too.

May 28,2008 Horoscope
Aries=You should find that you have an easier day today. Even so don’t be afraid to take advantage of a quiet period where you can indulge yourself a little. Muddling lunar influences suggest you’ll need some space: a trip to a salon or a sauna will help you to relax!
Taurus=Money matters might look a little less fabulous both today and tomorrow. This won’t be helped by a thoughtless friend, who might try and persuade you to spend what you haven’t got. Resist the temptation; be fair but firm with your friend, and above all, avoid the mall!
Gemini=A less than positive lunar aspect indicates a need to tie up some rather loose ends today. If you get busy and start addressing those areas that look a little disorganized you’ll feel a lot happier; if you try to ignore it, you’ll only be postponing the unavoidable. If you ask for help you’ll get it!
Cancer=It’s likely to be a non-descript day where nothing really happens, but because of a couple of taxing aspects you could end up feeling as though your efforts are being wasted or ignored, or that someone is riding roughshod over your input. However, later in the day a minor stroke of good luck is likely to revive your spirits!
Leo=As with Gemini, you could find that you’re over investing your time and energy into one specific matter. Pause for a moment to reassess your priorities, because chances are that you’re not being as efficient as you could be. It is possible that this one thing is holding you back!
Virgo=Matters of the heart are likely to dominate the day today, with you needing to be perhaps a little less passive and a little less unreceptive to what the day has to offer. Be proactive: draw attention to your good points, especially if you want someone to sit up and take notice of you!
Libra=Challenging aspects slow you down today, and could hamper previous efforts in a work or school related matter. You could feel that you really haven’t got the energy or the creative drive to keep the momentum going. A minor stroke of poor luck won’t help but it needs to be kept in perspective!
Scorpio=A much improved day should help you to wind down a little, although the moon could indirectly make you feel more emotional than usual. A little dash of excitement will go a long way to restoring the balance; so concentrate on having some fun at some point today!
Sagittarius=You could find it hard-going today, thanks to a few minor influences. You could feel a little more indecisive and a little misdirected, especially when it comes to work or school. Keep a list of what you need to do; not only will it provide some much- needed focus but it will also help jog that memory!
Capricorn=Communications are indirectly aspected, thanks to the moon. Contacts, letters, emails and texts should be responded to straight away, but beware of misunderstandings; it might be that you misconstrue someone’s good intentions: a bottle-half-full approach will serve you well, today!
Aquarius=Like most of the signs you too may notice an unhelpful lunar influence. You could find that you’re tempted to cut corners at work or school in order to free up some leisure time! Don’t; arrange a lively evening with some like-minded friends, but reserve the day for the serious stuff!
Pisces=Unlike some other signs an efficient and dynamic mood should kick in today, and there is also an added bonus in the form of your cash flow. There’s some good news on the way, so even if the day starts with a couple of unwelcome bills or invoices don’t worry, because as the day progresses the pressure will ease!

Baby Mila (my-lah)
18 WEEKS 3D ULTRASOUND
Im 5 months pregnant now 20weeks to be exact. So far my pregnancy is doing really fine i never had morning sickness and hoping will never have one. This week MILA got bigger and stronger cause i can feel a lot of her moves now i noticed too that whenever i take a shower that when she leans outwards you can see her from my body there is a bulge on the upper part of my tummy, she is probably tickled by the sound of the shower drops.
I remembered a time when my aunt is pregnant and that time im still in HS I was talking to her then she suddenly stopped from what she is doing and she smiled so sweetly and grabbed my hand quickly to feel her baby but me being so young and naive that time i dont know what's going on i didnt feel her baby moved I was just looking at her like she is the happiest person in the world.
I felt exactly the same way when my baby moves.
Its very true on what they say that "You will never understand how to be a parent until you became one"

Moving and Adjustments...
Year 2006 when I moved here in the states to be with my loving husband Gary. I never imagined that i will be having my own family in the place where i have no idea what's in store for me, I just followed my heart and im pretty sure that destiny brought me here.
I will be missing my family and friends back home for sure but i believe everyone has to move on and build their own life.
2:45pm It was snowing in Detroit, MI when the plane touched down that was the first US state i stopped and had to wait at the airport for my connecting flight to NC. I have found out that learning didnt stop from school cause i felt like im back to elementary level when i came here in the US, i have to struggle with the grammar, The people have different accent depends on what state they are from and what happen is that people constantly moving from one state to another. The main reason is Job demand, Weather or probably lovelife.
I notice the politeness of americans. Shaking hands to people who they meet, Hug the elders, Smile and say Hi/Hello to every people they see (as in every people)
WEATHER. here in NC its good and bad Good= cause we have 4 season Winter, Spring,Summer and Fall you can experience the different season which is pretty amazing oh I love the Snow and on Fall season leaves turns from green to orange. What is the
Bad= every season we have to change our clothes Im talking from 4 layered clothes to tank top its kinda expensive if you think about it.I've been here for 2years and a half i still cant get used to the cold weather.
SIZE. size matters here from XS-XXXL, back home we only have S-M-L probably we have XL now, Me being a petite im XS in womens section but i usually go to KIDS section... it sucks.. but i dont have any choice and that situation actually made my husband buy me a Sewing Machine (he's so sweet) that way i can buy clothes appropriate to my age if its long then i just "sew it away"
FOODS. 1 person meal here is good for 4 person in the philippines. Its HUGE!! I can never finish my food even if im so hungry. Had to take home my leftover all the time.
There is a lot more things that i wanted to share with you but i better stop at this point cause ill bore you guys to death.
Im excited to blog more of my experiences so, until next time!!
